some guys welcome back to healthy recipe
we're gonna be making today a super
simple and quick recipe is a sandwich
recipe with beans actually refined
refried beans and a couple of other easy
ingredients I just want to show you guys
something you can have if you're in a
rush or something real quick that you
can prepare a super easy recipe so let's
get right to work please don't forget to

let's go over the ingredients I'm using
for this simple sandwich I got a whole
grain focaccia bread here you could use
whatever vessel you want for for adding
this stuff you know you could use wraps
tortilla naan bread whatever you like it
will probably work I'm just giving you
guys a real simple idea for something
you can make very fast I'm using tomato
this is Paige amazed with the beans you
don't even need the vegenaise you can
use use just the refried beans if you
don't have mayonnaise or get vegan Mayo
refried back black beans
actually these are refried these are
pinto beans I want to say yeah pinto
beans these are refried pinto beans so
refried beans any kind that you like
have some sliced onions that's really
finely sliced some garlic that I shaved
also really ten and three slices of
jalapeno these ingredients are also
optional if you don't like you know
garlic and your sandwich well you don't
like garlic you know I'm do it also the
onions and the heat optional but it
gives a lot of flavor and I'm using a
leaf kale for my greens
so the idea here is to get you know your
protein from your beans I got my greens
right here I got my whole grains and you
know I got tomato and also the alien
group and I got jalapenos so I'm getting
a nice diverse amount of plant food you
know in one little simple sandwich that
you can make in a couple of minutes
without cooking Oh actually I am gonna
toast the bun so we're doing a little
bit of cooking so first thing I'm gonna
do is I'm gonna go ahead and toast this
bun and I'm using a cast-iron skillet
and I'm actually gonna just toast the
bun on a cast iron skillet I'm not using
any oil this will actually toast on the
bottom and that'll give you a little bit
of a crunch which I really like but you
can use it like that you know whatever
bread you're using you don't have to
necessarily toast it I just prefer it so
we'll give that about a minute on there
30 seconds on high heat and then I will
set the sandwich up all right so with
the kale I'm gonna take some of these
big ribs out
just cuz they're very fair is endure a
bit bitter I just kind of want to use
them in pieces you know in place of
lettuce is gonna give me a lot better
nutrition and our breads done it's nice
and toasted around the edges and it
looks really good it's got a little
crisp to it because how I like it
now we're gonna go ahead stack it
this what the beans look like they look
really nice it's actually what I've seen
a pretty good organic brand I've used
their black beans too and there were
really delicious first thing I'm gonna
do is I'm gonna put mustard on the top
I'm sorry
inhale put one scoop of mail there I'm
gonna take nice big heaping scoop of the
beans remember that's your protein so be
generous so you get kind of like a nice
sandwich feel right now take two
tomatoes stack them on top
the garlic
I want to spread the garlic around you
get a little bit with every bite garlic
has lots of health benefits also idea is
to get something that tastes really good
but yet as beneficial healthy properties
I'm getting a ton on attrition here and
a sandwich that's delicious simple to
make that's pretty much the whole thing
I'm gonna just go ahead it on top slice
down the middle
you don't have to do the whole slicing
thing if you don't want but I think it
looks nicer when I played it and show
you guys the final piece all right guys
I just wanted to show you a beautiful
these sandwiches came out let me show
you the final piece they're absolutely
beautiful and I know that tastes good
because this is actually one of my go-to
quick meals to eat during the day for an
emergency if I don't have time this is
what I'll usually make for myself

this is really amazing
the beans are already well seasoned they
got a little bit of cumin in the
background I can taste the fresh garlic
gives it an amazing flavor profile and
if you guys haven't tried the vegan Mayo
really really good mmm the onion
sweetness over time only the heat from
the fresh jalapeno cumin in the
background the beans are soft the
sandwich is really really toasted on the
corners so I have a little bit of crisp

This is such an easy vegan sandwich to make that it is the perfect emergency go to food when we are pressed for time at our house.
